Tourism Australia Trade Events

Tourism Australia coordinates and participates in a number of international trade shows and events each year to promote Australia as a premier travel destination. The majority of these trade shows and events are held within key international markets bringing together the Australian tourism industry and travel agents and travel wholesalers from around the world.

Australia

Dreamtime is Tourism Australia’s signature incentive showcase, which brings international business events buyers and media to experience Australia’s incentive offering and expertise in delivering business events. Dreamtime 2017 will be held in Brisbane from Sunday 3 December 2017 - Wednesday 6 December, 2017.

China

The Greater China Travel Mission (GCTM) 2017 will be held in Guangzhou, China from 11 to 14 December, 2017. GCTM 2017 provides a forum for Australian tourism businesses to engage with approximately 70 key Chinese buyers and establish business links through a scheduled appointment program. The GCTM buyers are decision makers from mainland China, Hong Kong and Taiwan who actively sell Australia as a preferred long-haul destination to Chinese travellers. The event will also provide opportunities for Australian suppliers to learn more about travel trends in the Greater China region.

  China

The Greater China Premium Travel Showcase (GCPTS) 2017 will be held in Guangzhou, China from 13 – 15 December 2017. GCPTS 2017 provides a forum for premium Australian tourism businesses to engage with up to 30 key premium Chinese buyers and establish business links through a scheduled appointment program. The GCPTS buyers are end decision makers from mainland China, Hong Kong and Taiwan who actively sell Australia as a preferred premium long-haul destination to Chinese travellers. It will also provide opportunities for Australian suppliers to learn more about travel trends in the Greater China region and to showcase their premium products.
